Porepunkah Pines Holiday Park is situated along the banks of the Ovens River, a beautiful clear mountain stream that’s great for fishing and relaxing, watching the children brave the cool waters to float, swim and play, or taking an invigorating dip of your own. If the river is not your choice for swimming (or you’re looking for something warmer) there’s a 30-metre solar heated pool onsite as well as a children’s water park and fenced children’s play area. The park is only five minutes from Bright by car or a 20-minute bike ride along the Murray to Mountain Rail Trail that joins the park via a short path. For indoor activities there’s the games room with a pool table.
